    •
    SECTION: HOT Music!

I really like where Lil’ Mama is going with this video especially since its Lil Mama’s way of paying homage to one of her role models, the legendary MC Lyte, with this song “Scrawberry” which samples Special Ed’s “I Got It Made” and is directed by Phil Lee. I love it! Its fun! She sounds awesome and actually looks great! Check it out and enjoy!

HUGE CONGRATS TO FUTURE HIP-HOP PARENTS TO BE

    JAY-Z & BEYONCE

After years and years of pregnancy rumors, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter confirmed she was pregnant during the 2011 Video Music Awards in Los Angeles last night!! She made sure we all knew through words and POSES! ya dig?  Once she hit the red carpet in her GORGEOUS one-shoulder Grecian ‘forgiving’ inspired gown, she began to strike various poses highlighting her baby bump, insinuating that something was finally there. However, the flaunting of ‘Baby Carter’ did not stop there. During her live-performance of “Love On Top” she exclaimed, “I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside of me.” ….Really though Bey?  Here are pics of the glowing mother-to-be and the ever more happy father-to-be Jay-Z and Beyonce at last night”s 2011 VMAs

In other Beyonce news….she is still setting records and this time its because of what’s inside her belly!

Reportedly, when Bey made her big reveal, Tweets were sent out via the social networking site at 8,868 tweets per second.  This beat the previous record of a little over 7,000 tweets per second when Japan beat the U.S. Women’s soccer team this past summer.

And that’s not the only record breaking moment.  MTV reports that they had their biggest audience in the network’s history with a record-breaking 12.4 million total viewers.  8.5 million of those viewers were ages 12-34.

In addition, the VMAs is the #1 cable telecast of 2011 with 12-34 demo and the #1 non-sports cable telecast of 2011 with total viewers.

And MTV digital saw their largest mobile, twitter, and other social networking numbers in their history.

DAMMIT BEYONCE!  SIT YO ASS DOWN AND START ACTING LIKE A MOTHER!  PUT MOGUL STATUS ON HOLD..AT LEAST FOR NOW! LOL

CONGRATS! CONGRATS! CONGRATS! AGAIN TO QUEEN BEY & KING HOV!

(I just wanna see what their baby is gonna look like…we already know its going to be filthy ass rich! ::sighs::)

    • HAPPY 53RD BIRTHDAY TO THE KING OF POP: MICHAEL JACKSON!!!!

    •
    SECTION: Life Is A .....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE INCOMPARABLE MICHAEL JACKSON

YOU CAN NEVER BE DUPLICATED JUST IMITATED! WE ALL KNOW THIS!

    HAPPY 53RD!

Here is some history on the great late Michael Jackson:

Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009) was an American recording artist, dancer, singer-songwriter, musician, and philanthropist. Referred to as the King of Pop, Jackson is recognized as the most successful entertainer of all time by Guiness World Records. His contribution to music, dance, and fashion, along with a much-publicized personal life, made him a global figure in pop culture for over four decades. The seventh child of the Jackson family, he debuted on the professional music scene along with his brothers as a member of The Jackson 5, then the Jacksons in 1964, and began his solo career in 1971.

In the early 1980s, Jackson became a dominant figure in pop music. The music videos for his songs, including those of “Beat It“, “Billie Jean“, and “Thriller“, were credited with transforming the medium into an art form and a promotional tool, and the popularity of these videos helped to bring the relatively new television channel MTV to fame. Videos such as “Black or White” and “Scream” made him a staple on MTV in the 1990s. Through stage performances and music videos, Jackson popularized a number of dance techniques, such as the robot and the moonwalk, to which he gave the name. His distinctive musical sound and vocal style have influenced numerous hip hop, pop, contemporary R&B, and rock artists.

Jackson’s 1982 album Thriller is the best-selling album of all time. His other records, including Off the Wall (1979), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991), and HIStory (1995), also rank among the world’s best-selling. Jackson is one of the few artists to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. He was also inducted into the Dance Hall of Fame as the first (and currently only) dancer from the world of pop and rock ‘n’ roll. Some of his other achievements include multiple Guiness World Records; ; 13 Grammy Awards (as well as the Grammy Legend Award and the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award); 26 American Music Awards (more than any other artist, including the “Artist of the Century”); 13 number-one singles in the United States in his solo career (more than any other male artist in the Hot 100 era); and the estimated sale of over 750 million records worldwide. Jackson won hundreds of awards, which have made him the most-awarded recording artist in the history of popular music!  For more on Michael Jackson go to www.michaeljackson.com

    The Aftermath …..

At least 20 deaths across eight states were blamed on Irene, which fizzled to a post-tropical cyclone and headed over eastern Canada on Monday morning.

And more than 3 million people were still without power across the Northeast early Monday.

But much of the trouble left behind centered on flooding from North Carolina through New England, with homes inundated and roads torn apart by raging floodwater.

Some of the worst flooding in generations ravaged Vermont’s normally tranquil countryside early Monday, turning babbling brooks into turbulent rivers, knocking homes from their foundations and washing away at least one person.

In North Carolina, as many as 200 residents were isolated and without power Monday on Ocracoke Island, near where Irene first made landfall as a hurricane on Saturday. Supply transport to Ocracoke is hampered as large chunks of a key roadway were taken out by violent ocean waves.

Parts of the East Coast are supposed to return to normal today as some subway services will resume in New York City and the three major airports in the area will open.

The U.S. government estimated that the cost from wind damage alone is expected to top $1 billion. Downed power lines left more than 4 million people without electricity during Irene’s weekend journey up the East Coast.

“The impacts of this storm will be felt for some time, and the recovery effort will last for weeks or longer,” President Barack Obama said Sunday evening from Washington.

Imagine the real impact if it were worse!  I understand there were many people upset it wasn’t as bad as they wanted it to be? REALLY? I swear people in this world are never really satisfied until everything is in shambles, bad condition, or just beneficial towards themselves only!!!

Talk about being put on blast and by your own “FRIEND” !  Don’t know if y’all remember but there was a little ole lawsuit filed against Shaq by his former employee  Ms. Shawn Darling and in her suit Shawn claimed to have access to emails that proved Shaq cheated during his marriage to Shaunie! Oh and what a surprise that some of those emails have now become public!  These messages were exchanged between Shaq and  Newsweek reporter Allison Samuels. In one set of the e-mails from 2008, Samuels is trying to hook Shaq up with his choice of model Sessilee Lopez, actresses Robinne Lee (who is also a good friend of Gabrielle Union) and Sharon Leal. Of course in the process Shaq also tries throwing a lil d*ck Allison’s way too… but when Allison tries to bring up Lauren London, Shaq deflects by saying the homie smashed. SMH!  Check out the transcripts below and don’t be surprised!

Excerpts: (exposing people’s email addresses and everything…smfh)

Samuels: Hi. Sesslielopez@gmail.com [FYI, the email address bounces back]. Or I can give her your info? She’s not in the country until Wed so maybe then is better because she hasn’t answered me about something else I asked her about. Also she asked about your personal life and I told her – whatever it is -I’m sure you had it under control. Still waiting on Robinne’s response.

Shaq: Sesslie ain’t dat fine what’s robins last name

Samuels: You are so wrong! Robinne Lee — she’s on Tyler Perry’s show sometimes. Do you know Lauren London. I don’t, but I know James Lassiter knows how to reach her. You ever dealt with her, is she cool? Sharon Leal??

Shaq: Loren is d wade’s girl im not wrong sesslie aint my type u r

Samuels: What about Gabrielle and Dwyane?

Shaq: He gottem all I want u or rihanna

Shaq: Yeah but I told u had a crush on me and u wouldnt chat about us i kn o u

Samuels: No I’m chatty in a relationship, not to others. You just decided I had a crush on you huh?? When did you decide that?

I will never forget when I first met Keke Palmer!  Such a breathe of fresh air!  I was inspired and she was the perfect definition of happiness.  A big ole HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY to actress, singer, and saavy businesswoman KeKe Palmer.  If you are living under a rock and have no idea who she is–does “Akeelah And The Bee” and “True Jackson, VP” ring a bell?  Let’s not forget her cloting line at Walt-Mart and being one of the highest paid child starts in Hollywood, KeKe has shown that she can drive in multiple lanes and has what it takes to maneuver through the mean streets of Hollywood.  And she’s blossomed into a very beautiful woman! You legal now girl!!! Check out the pics along with Cassie’s stunning images below!

Oh and a HAPPY 25th BIRTHDAY to Diddy’s jawn Cassie Ventura!  They call her a “singer” but she’s a model and one of Diddy’s jump-offs–professionally!  She turns 25 today and has successfully convinced women all over New York and wherever to walk the streets rockin that ridiculous half-shaved bald hairdo! Ughhh!  ::Sighs::   Yes, you can thank Cassie for that “inspiration” between 2010-2011…hopefully not 2012! She gets a “C’mon son!” from me on that!   Even though she wasn’t the first to rock the half baldie, as a singer, model and fashion muse, Cassie has become a style inspiration to many young women.  She has solidified her career making moves in the modeling industry and rightfully so!  It is pretty legit that she is an official spokeswoman for Carol’s Daughter!  Check out her pics below…which are STUNNING!

    • DEAR LIL’ WAYNE, YOU’RE WHACK! HERE’S WHY….

    •
    SECTION: Life Is A .....

SO……LIL’ WAYNE GOT THIS BRIGHT IDEA THAT a new diss track aimed at Jay-Z and Beyonce called “It’s Good” that features Jadakiss and Drake would boost his little self-esteem. Listen to the song and find out why this dumb beef started in the first place…

In a new track called “It’s Good” that features Jadakiss and Drake, Weezy throws shots are both Jay-Z and Beyonce in the following lyric:

“Talk about baby money, I got your baby money.
Kidnap your bitch get that that how much you love your lady money
I know you fake nigga, press your brakes nigga.
I’ll take you out, that’s a date nigga.
I’m a grown ass blood, stop playing with me.”

So where would Lil’ Wayne get the bright idea to threaten to kidnap Beyonce and take out Jay-Z in a whack song? Maybe its because Weezy believes that both Jay-Z & Kanye’s song “H.A.M.” that goes:

    “Really you got baby money
    Keep it real with niggas,
niggas ain’t got my lady money.”

HERE IS LIL WAYNE’S SONG “IT’S GOOD” FOR YOUR HEARING TORTURE:

UPDATE:  Lil’ Wayne had the nerve to respond to this “controversy” surrounding the “diss” record in VIBE’sOct/Nov cover story saying:

“I know there won’t be any repercussions behind what I did,” says a confident Wayne when asked if he had second thoughts about recording his acidic verse for ‘It’s Good.’ “I know for a fact music is about perception. You can’t do anything but perceive what you hear. I know that for a fact. So I can’t ever be upset about someone’s reaction.”

    Read more over at VIBE.com

OH PLEASE LIL’ WAYNE! JUST STOP IT ALREADY! READ A BOOK WITH BIG WORDS!
