(From selling his pants on Ebay to getting married to a giant, Lubiderm couldn’t help Gary Coleman get his life together :(

Why suffer at the “hands” of a knife…I’m afraid its too late for you Lil’ Kim aka Ho Chi Kim! (really not a funny issue…she quite possibly may have the lowest self-esteem I’ve ever seen an African American woman have and she’s sooooo in the wrong industry for all this mess!)

    sarah-palin.jpg

Remember that Russia is right next door to Alaska…SMH..lol

A Waste of Talent throughout most of 2008….. (Can’t even say poor thing…)

Definitely Hot Ghetto Mess Material – This is the singer of the hideous song “Its So Cold In Da “D” LMAO…..she looks like Don Cheadle with a horrible weave

The New York Yankees missed the playoffs for the 1st time in 13 YEARS! :(

The JETS choked at the end of the season

Who in the hell can forget about “Client 9″…the look on his wife’s face is still priceless (WOW)

The nasty and ugly divorce of Lisa Raye and Michael Misick involving some random chic (Lisa Raye’s actions were like those from the main character from Diary of a Mad Black Woman….unreal! She pulled the pages right out of the book!)

The tragic murder of Jennifer Hudson’s Nephew, Brother, and mother :(

Thomas Beatie: The infamous pregnant man said to be pregnant AGAIN! SMH!!!!

And lastly…..R Kelly’s interview with Torae of BET was the WTF moment of the year when he says …”So what do you mean by teenager….I’ve got some 19 year old friends?” WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

ENOUGH WITH THE WORST….NOW ON TO THE BEST….

    THE OBAMAS:  ENOUGH SAID

And the Best Hip Hop Couple Award goes to…… Jay  & Bey…of course

    • The True Spirit and Meaning of Christmas!

    •
SECTION: Life Is A .....,Our Environment/Saving the World,Values/Beliefs,What I Love,What do you think?,What is your purpose in life?Barack Obama, Broke, Christmas, Community Service, Economy, historical, Jacqwi Campbell, Meaning, President, spirit, Student, True

The True Spirit and Meaning of Christmas is not about how much money you spend on gifts, what gifts you get, or the food you eat; it’s about GIVING BACK!

So with that said, this year I have decided to give back to those less fortunate instead of  just giving gifts to those fortunate enough to have a roof over their heads, food on their plate, and clothes on their backs! In addition, (speaking from the point of view of a student) I am “SEMI BROKE” (not really, but I should be saving my money for that rainy day…feel me?)  and as we all know too well, we are currently in a “recession” and I just don’t feel the same holiday ‘spirit’ I did several years ago.  I feel that people’s outlook of the direction of this country is weary and we have a society that is split in half—literally.  With the past HISTORICAL presidential elections where America experienced the election of our very first African American president, it is not easy to ignore that there are indeed positive vibes running through our society both young and old, black and white; however, there are also feelings of hate and uncertainty that contribute to the unease of the country.  It is unfortunate there exists a portion of the population that does not have HOPE in not only our government system (which I can completely understand), but to not have HOPE in our leader who does not promise, but  believes he can move this country in a different direction is a discouraging thought in these trying times.

I know…its a lot to think about!!  We all can’t save the world in one day, but I’d like to do my part by giving back on this wonderful day we call CHRISTmas and you should too! If not for the homeless and those less fortunate, then at least for a CHANGE in this country.  Be like Barack! lol

So if anyone has any suggestions on some of the best volunteer soup kitchens for this holiday season, please pass the info along to BUtifulstrngr212@gmail.com!

    Thanks! and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

REMEMBER TO: Take the time to thank “him” for what you have, don’t have, and about to receive!!!

    THANKS FOR LISTENING/READING/GROWING :)

LMAO…I THINK IT REALLY HAS COME TO THIS!!!

So I cannot part ways with my blackberry..its literally always by my side! Is it a bad thing if I don’t actually know what any of my friends really sound like over the phone or that I don’t know how to dial out numbers anymore?  I guess I was just thinking about this the other day because I had an entire conversation with this dude via text and never once thought to actually call him so that it would at least sound more authentic!!!  What’s happening to society? Communication?  AM I A DAMN ROBOT? LOL….. A shame isn’t it?  I swear I will try to call someone this week even if its to say hi!  All you other blackberry/crackberry/blueberry users should too! LOL

Just thought I’d share my frustration with this current relationship of mine :(

(You’re probably thinking…if this is the only problem you got…WAKE UP BITCH!!!! the economy is crumbling….like I said, its just a thought..now back to hiding my money under my mattress :)

    • Serious Political Talk: Is this country ready for any CHANGE?

    •
SECTION: Important American Government & Politics,THE U.S. Economy,Venting,Voting,What do you think?,What is your purpose in life?,Words of WisdomCrisis, Economy, future, McCain, Obama, Voting, WAR

Simple Question:  Do you believe this country is ready for any change?

We all know that America is the land of opportunity and “freedom” to some degree, but with so many people (voters) up in the air about this election and the direction this country should go, what will possibly be the fate of USA?

We are currently in the worst economic crisis to date!

Jobs are being lost or taken away, I have seen more homeless people than ever on the streets, the price of homes and education is unreal……Let’s not talk about the WAR

    SO

Who can really help us now? Who can change this situation for the better? Is it really btwn Obama and McCain?

MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION….Has this election turned into a popularity contest and just seen as a BIG JOKE?

    Here’s more to stimulate conversation:

A few friends of mine carried on some interesting dialogue this morning about what they think about the idea of voters still being “undecided”, here is what they had to say:

Johnnie:  “I don’t get swing states.  How do you not know who your voting for at this point? Being undecided is a mark of weakness and is really just used so that people can speak freely about the candidates without sounding partisan or prejudiced.

Fina:  Is anyone else filled with anxiety these days??? I’m hopeful but I also fear that curtain will close behind the voters in the pollbooths and only then will they be able to vote freely without being judged and thus the closet racists will be free to come out…Ugh….

Johnnie:   I have a lot of thoughts on this and the main one that comes to mind is that I don’t believe this country is ready as much as they say it is.  This election should be a landslide but I have a feeling people will vote for who they are used to voting for, all order will be restored, and the people’s “love affair” with Barack Obama will be OVER

You can continue on with your own thought…..

     DISCUSS.

    • Economic Crisis…..What Economic Crisis?!?!

    •
SECTION: Believe It Or Not!!!,THE U.S. Economy,WTF?!?!,What do you think?Economy, Jun Choi, Mayor of Edison New Jersey, Pay Raise, Township Council

Story courtesy of The Associated Press

Edison Mayor Jun Choi is getting a 53 percent pay raise.

Four members of the Township Council who are aligned with Choi voted for an ordinance to boost his salary from $49,000 to $75,000. In the spring, a raise of $97,000 was proposed.

Some residents said the four members should have recused themselves because of their ties to the mayor. Others complained that the position is part-time.

Choi quit his job with the state Education Department when he was elected.

The neighboring communities of Woodbridge and Carteret each pay their fulltime mayors $75,000 a year.

     So what do you think?

I mean the dude isn’t making a shitload of money…he’s not TRUMP, but  should we be mad because the rest of us are broke and this damn crisis is controlling our lives, or should we just shut the hell up because the man did quit his job with the Education Department to be mayor and only making $45,000?!?! Salary that wasn’t matching to his duties as mayor…so let’s cut the dude some slack huh? Sheesh! lol

    • McCain is Frontin’?!?! Suspends campaign due to cratering economy!

    •
SECTION: Important American Government & Politics,Voting,What do you think?Bush, Campaign, David Letterman, Economy, McCain, Sarah Palin, Suspension, YouTube

As David Letterman pointed out last night….why would McCain quit on America by suspending his campaign?  If he can’t run the campaign, why wouldn’t he put in his “second-string quarterback”…our potential Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah “I like hugs” Palin? LOL…In all honesty, yes our economy is in trouble and its great to see how McCain can rush to the aid of our economy at the drop of a dime, but if you can’t utilize your other resources…his other resources being Sarah Palin, wouldn’t that mean he doesn’t have that must trust in her to “hold down the fort”…I bet his thought bubble was saying…”Man, this chic is going to start talking about hugging trees if I leave her alone with all of America”  GREAT CHOICE MCCAIN…you were really looking out for our future when you chose Sarah Palin and all her problems.  I smell REGRET!

Republican presidential candidate John McCain announced Wednesday that he is suspending his campaign to return to Washington and focus on the “historic” crisis facing the U.S. economy.

McCain said it was time for both parties to come together to solve economic crisis. The Arizona senator called on his Democratic rival, Barack Obama, to do the same. The Obama campaign announced that Obama would make a statement shortly. McCain also urged that organizers of Friday’s presidential debate at the University of Mississippi to postpone the event. “I am calling on the president to convene a meeting with the leadership from both houses of Congress, including Senator Obama and myself,” McCain told reporters in New York. “It is time for both parties to come together to solve this problem.”

So what’s good with the suspension? is it due to the polls sliding John?  Let’s keep it real.  Need to buy more time to steal this election? Will You SUSPEND the PRESIDENCY when times get rough too?

Click on the YouTube link below to listen to what David Letterman had to say about McCain and his suspension due to the economy that Bush fucked up! lol
