Like his beautiful wife, Obama is gracing the cover of a magazine, VIBE Magazine to be exact! VIBE magazine announces its November 2008 cover today with Barack Obama, marking the first time in history that the leading lifestyle publication has ever formally endorsed a Presidential nominee. This is a formal endorsement, by VIBE magazine, of Senator Barack Obama…We built hip hop from nothing to something. We can do anything.”
This historic collector’s edition also marks the second time that VIBE has placed the Senator of Illinois on its cover after being the first music magazine to do so in September 2007.
In an unprecedented one-page letter exclusive to VIBE readers, Obama also calls out today’s youth, urging them to take a stand and vote for change. He writes, “Dear VIBE Readers…I am running for President to take this country in a new direction. But I can’t do it alone. I need you. Whether it’s the first time, or the first time in a long time, I need you to register and vote on November 4th.”
GO BARACK THE VOTE ON NOV. 4th PEOPLE!!!!
So did you watch the debate on Friday night?

A new USA Today/Gallup Poll shows 46% of people who watched Friday night’s presidential debate say Democrat Barack Obama fared better than Republican John McCain, who received 34% of the vote.
Obama won 52%-35% when viewers were asked which candidate offered the best proposals for change to solve the country’s problems. Three in 10 said their opinion of Obama became more favorable after seeing the debate, compared to 14% who said less favorable and 54% who said it didn’t make much difference.
More than one-third of viewers, or 37%, said they had less confidence in McCain to fix economic problems after seeing the debate; 23% said more. For Obama, the survey results were 34% more confidence, 26% less.
The vice presidential debate between Republican Gov. Sarah Palin and Democratic Sen. Joe Biden will take place on Thursday (Oct. 2) at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. The next two presidential debates will be held Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville (in a town hall format), and Oct. 15 at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY (with a focus on domestic policy).
If you want to talk about less confidence in McCain, how about we turn to his choice of VP, Ms. Sarah Palin (SHAKING MY HEAD IN SHAME @ HER INTERVIEW WITH KATIE COURIC
WOWWWWWWWWWWWWW)
Check out my next post!!!!
The story is all over Progressive Talk Radio today about the McCain
campaign sending absentee ballot applications to registered democrats
or people that have donated to Obama’s campaign. These ballots are
deliberately misleading and have postage paid return addresses that
are for an election clerk that is outside of your city or town. What
this will end up doing is either having your vote not counted, or if
you return one of these, they will cite you for election fraud, saying
that you already voted absentee. These ballots are only being sent out
in ‘purple states’ and this is a big deal.. This is called voter
caging, and is a huge problem.
The McCain campaign is stealing this election as we speak. Please get
this information out to as many people as you can ,and tell anyone you
know who has received one of these ballots that they need to contact
their city election clerk or the supervisor of elections immediately.
Also call the local media and let them know what is going on.

The main stream media is never going to cover this so we have to
depend on our ground campaign to get the word out to our voters.
Ladies and Gentlemen…GET OUT AND VOTE in NOVEMBER! PLEASE!
